(the photo sharing site) to let others know what each photo
is related to. For example, a picture of someone on holiday
in Paris might be tagged with: france, holiday, paris. The
more people who use a certain tag, the bigger that tag will
appear in a tag

we're using tags in a slightly different way. You sponsor
a tag and the more you choose to pay, the larger your tag
appears. Finally, and most importantly, when someone
clicks on the tag they will be taken to your website.
But
why should i sponsor a tag?
When
you sponsor a tag it will link to your website. People who
view tagsponsor.com
will click on your tag if it interests them. If you sponsor
a tag relevant to your website it will bring you "targeted
traffic". Also, the tag is displayed on the website as
text, not as an image. Search engines like Google take this
into account and may increase how important they think your
website is in relation to the tag you've choosen. For example,
an internet bookshop might want to sponsor the tag "books".
How
much will this cost me?
The price varies depending on how big you want your tag to
be, the bigger the tag is, the more attention it's likely
to get.
All prices are for a one year period. After that time you'll
have the option to renew your sponsorship or make the tag
available to others.
How
do i sponsor a tag?
Simple,

of the page and follow the simple instructions.
Can i sponsor more than one tag?
Yes, you can link a maximum of 3 tags to one website.
Can
i sponsor any tag?
Almost, although we don't allow the following to become tags:
- offensive
words (including racist and pornographic words)
- tags
longer than 35 characters
- single
letters
- meaningless
groups of letters (e.g. kbdddsfisb)
Can
i choose where my tag appears on the page?
You can specify that you would like your tag in the following
locations:
- top
- bottom
- left
- right
- middle
You
can use more than one location together if you wish, for example,
top right. Due to the nature of tagsponsor.com,
the length of other tags may effect what line your
tag appears on. This may change slightly over time. If you
are unhappy with the placement of your tag, please contact
us and we will do our best to help.
